As the daylight shined upon the large desert of Radulia, one Toraseki was just watching the entrance from inside the Ald'tai caves. The Toraseki just gave one slow blink before standing on his four legs. He slowly turned around and headed deeper within the caverns. As he wandered deeper into the caverns, a soft garnet aura began to come into more focus. It was his only light source, but the Toraseki didn't mind it, now one bit. He loved the darkness. If he was still in the light, he would be even more annoyed than he already was. Soon, he had stopped and jumped into a boulder in the cavern and looked up. There is only one thing that I don't understand, he thought before looking down at his black colored paws. "Who is that feline that appears in my own sense of sleep? She ruins my own nightmares that I desire. These.... dreams that this one creates. How I loathe them to no bitter end!" He looked forward with a snarl upon his face. "If I find her.... I will fight her."

The Ald'tai Caves were not one of Felina's normal places to reside, but it was one of the few places where she could escape the heat of the Radulia desert. Of all the places that she had to awaken, why had it been the desert?
That was no point in wondering why she was there, though--she had felt it in the air. The yin to her yang; the darkness to her light--the God of Nightmares was nearby.
If Alanya had awoken, then Felina had no doubts that her Priestess would be by her side, and would doubtless be advising her on how to handle the situation. After all, the God of Nightmares was her natural opposite, and the reason that she was working overtime (or so she felt).

After many more minutes of traveling deeper and deeper into the caves, Akumu couldn't take anymore walking. He had no other choice. He had to sleep. The sanity inside his throbbing mind was killing his mental traits. All he ever wanted was sleep and have good nightmares. Even as a child he loved nightmares more than dreams and never knew why till meeting the Goddess of Wisdom. Even then, her words pierced though his heart like a needle of fear.
"The reason you exist, little one, is because you were created. A yin without a yang is considered unbalanced. The way the world also sees that good cannot live without the bad. Hope is useless without despair. So on and so forth there are two sides to the world we all live. You are nightmares, the darkness to the light of dreams."
Akuma just sighed softly before curling up near a rock to hide his aura from most sight and slowly closed his tired eyes. Even though he hated sleeping in darkness, what other choice did he have? "Just a few minutes of a good nightmare... for once in such a long time," he whispered to himself as he slowly fell into his deep slumber.

Felina had heard the footsteps approaching, but she had remained hidden in the shadows, doing the best she could to disguise her aura. If it was truly the God of Nightmares' presence she felt, then she did not want to alert him to her presence--anymore, she felt, that he wanted her alerted to his.
In a way, she felt that the relationship of her domain and his was similar to Erulissë and her sister, Náriel. While they were both Goddesses of Life, once upon a time, Erulissë had decided that it needed to run its course naturally and to not intervene, while Náriel had felt that her sister was too passive; if they could control the flow of life, why didn't they?
Maybe it was the manner in which Náriel had tried to show this line of thinking that had caused her to fall.
Everything had its course, Erulissë had told her. Death was a natural part of life, just as nightmares were a natural part of dreams--and vice versa. Felina had frowned at the notion; while it made sense that everything had its counterbalance--life and death, sun and moon, ice and fire, war and peace--why would anyone want to experience nightmares?

As Akumu closed his eyes, he soon begun to have a nightmare. Smiling, he felt at peace with himself in quite some time. He never felt a more glorious nightare in quite a long time.
The feeling of despair while running through abandon halls of a temple, blood shattering screams echoing as it rung a feline's eardrums.
Akumu loved that feeling on mortal felines. He would even dare as to sneak into the nightmare just to watch in glee. However, most of his fun times were ruined by the goddess of Dreams. That effected him as he watched his nightmare turn into dreams. Oh, how he despised that; it wounded him physically and emotionally. He hope it would not happen again, especially not on him.
